lilliooet lake

This photo was taken from a plane and I’m not sure who took it, but I thought it was a neat shot of the lake. Right now the lake colour is more brown than usual – because of all the forest fires and the rain last week there’s been some erosion.

  1. Hi Doug,
I wanted to inform you about something you may be very interested in.
It’s about a new newspaper we’ve started in Vancouver, BC. The underlying idea of the paper is that it is a modern day Greek Agora utilizing 21st century technology and specific innovations to go where other papers have been unable or unwilling to go.
We are currently looking for articles/content on any topic, so long as they are well written and thought provoking. I thought you might be interested in contributing, or know someone who is. Maybe you’d like to do a column on Green living, or off the grid living. All articles need to be submitted by Oct 7th to be included in the first edition. The distribution date is scheduled for Oct 15th. We have 15,000 copies that are to be distributed at various high traffic areas around Vancouver.
If the first edition goes well, and it will, we are going to rapidly expand, eventually becoming national in scope, while still having a large local section. As this happens I’d like to maintain a rapport with thinkers and writers of your calibre and project your articles into mainstream consciousness. Your website or blog would be credited fully within the paper and any traffic derived therefrom is yours.
There are also advertising opportunities. We offer almost any size ad, in black and white or colour, and our prices are lower than any other newspaper in Van.
    Lemme know your thoughts.
    Email me for more information.
